Samjoo Food traces its roots back to Julie’s Korean Kitchen, founded by Julie, a culinary expert with over a decade of experience in Korean cuisine. Her distinctive recipes and signature sauces have been widely loved and proven through her own restaurant and by being the first Korean vendor to participate in numerous Bay Area farmers markets. Samjoo Food was born in response to overwhelming requests from loyal customers Julie met at these farmers markets. Our mission is simple: to make the flavors of Julie’s Korean Kitchen accessible anytime, anywhere. Today, Samjoo Food is expanding beyond handcrafted Korean side dishes. In partnership with our Korea-based affiliate, Jusin Food, we are preparing to import premium Korean products—including rare teas and specialty items that are hard to find in the U.S. We’re also laying the groundwork to help Asian brands reach American customers through our platform.
